There’s something so special about looking back through a wedding gallery and reliving all those little moments that made the day unforgettable. I recently had the pleasure of delivering Chris and Samantha’s wedding gallery, and what a gorgeous day it was!
Back in August, I joined Chris and Samantha, along with their gorgeous little boy, for a beautiful wedding at The Pear Tree in Purton. From the stunning countryside views to the laughter, happy tears and all those precious family moments, their day was full of everything a wedding should be.
A stunning wedding venue in Purton
If you’re looking for an exclusive wedding venue in Purton that combines beautiful surroundings with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, The Pear Tree is such a special place to get married.
One of the things I loved most about photographing Chris and Samantha’s wedding was how much the venue had to offer. With its stunning views, beautiful grounds and peaceful countryside setting, The Pear Tree provides the perfect backdrop for natural, romantic wedding photography.
The venue also offers on-site accommodation, making it a wonderful choice for couples who want their closest friends and family to stay together and enjoy the celebrations without worrying about travelling home at the end of the night. It really helps create that lovely feeling of a wedding weekend spent celebrating with your favourite people.
Beautifully lit spaces and intimate celebrations
Inside, The Pear Tree has so many lovely spaces for capturing those special moments throughout the day.
The breakfast room was beautifully lit, creating the perfect setting for natural photographs filled with soft light and genuine emotion. As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love working in spaces like this, where the light helps create those timeless images that couples will treasure for years to come.
As the day moved into the evening, the atmosphere shifted into full celebration mode! The venue's intimate dance area created such a fun, welcoming space for guests to let loose and enjoy themselves. There’s something wonderful about a dance floor where everyone feels comfortable enough to get involved, whether that means showing off their best moves or simply enjoying the music with a drink in hand.
And, of course, no wedding gallery would be complete without those little moments in between — the hugs, the laughter, the glances across the room and the memories being made with the people who matter most.
Evening portraits in the private vineyard
One of my favourite parts of photographing a wedding at The Pear Tree in Purton was sneaking away with Chris and Samantha for some evening portraits.
The venue's private vineyard was the perfect little escape from the celebrations. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside, it gave us the opportunity to capture some romantic photographs of the two of them together, away from the busyness of the day.
I always love making time for these evening photographs. Weddings go by in such a blur, and having a few quiet minutes together allows couples to pause, take everything in and simply enjoy being newly married.
The vineyard added something really special to Chris and Samantha’s gallery, and it’s another reason why The Pear Tree is such a beautiful setting for couples looking for a wedding venue with character, privacy and stunning photographic opportunities.
A day full of family, love and memories
What made Chris and Samantha’s wedding particularly lovely was sharing the day with their little boy, too. Weddings are about celebrating a couple's love, but they’re also about family, and capturing those moments together is something I never take for granted.
From the excitement of the day to the little interactions that might otherwise pass by unnoticed, these are the memories that become even more precious as the years go on.
It was such a pleasure to photograph their August wedding at The Pear Tree, Purton, and to be able to return their finished gallery recently. I hope that looking through their photographs brings all those wonderful feelings rushing back!
Chris and Samantha, thank you so much for having me along to capture your August wedding. It was such a pleasure to be part of your day, and I wish your little family so much happiness for the years ahead.
